Bridget Morrow doesn’t do second chances. She does damage control — clean, cold, and surgical. When the Northwood Wolves’ ownership drops hockey’s most notorious bad boy in her lap and tells her the job ends at dawn unless she saves his career, she has one night, one rooftop, and one strategy left: make Farid Whitaker look like a man worth redeeming.
The plan is simple. The execution is not. Because the fiery team publicist Farid has been making miserable for months is the only woman who could sell this lie — and the heat crackling between them is anything but manufactured. Bridget has been down this road before, scripting love stories that protected dangerous men and destroyed the women beside them. She swore she’d never do it again.
But the blizzard doesn’t care about her conscience. The roads are closed, the elevator is jammed, and the league lawyer’s texts are getting colder by the minute. Trapped in a storm-locked suite with a man who broke script on live television just to tell the truth, Bridget starts to wonder which is more dangerous — the scandal she was hired to bury, or the feeling she can no longer explain away as part of the job.
